stringing a tenor; newb question

I'm loving my Harmony tenor but I want to restring it and so I bought a set of regular guitar strings. I hoped to string them according to diameter, but the set I bought only have the strings numbered "1,2,3,4 etc." Thanks.

Paul, you can get a set of tenor guitar strings as a set. Martin makes them as does D'Addario (set j66) The guages you need are approx. 1st- .10, 2nd- .016, 3rd- .024, 4th-.030

Here's the GHS set at Juststrings...I like them for the CGDA tuning I use on my Regal. I use D'Addario Custom Lites 6 string set on my GDAE tuned tenor
