buzz, please help

Hi there, I just got a new Washburn mandolin and when I play any note starting at around the fifth fret and below I get a metallic buzz which I havent been able to isolate and which also doesnt sound very nice. I could use any help possible. Thank you.

Maybe the action's too low? Try raising the bridge height.

also could be that the truss rod needs adjusting.
