Here is one of my new 5-String Models, with a new twist on color scheme. This one is my Aqua colored (surf green) with a vintage looking Tortise pickguard, 1-piece maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 14.5 Inch scale length.
After much discussion, Alan Bibey has decided on one of my 5-String Models.
He will be doing some pickin' on this one, until I have his Custom Ordered one completed. Sure was great to hear some fine pickin' on this Mando!

That's pretty sweet. Did he hear about your mandos here on the Cafe?

Pretty cool John! What is Alan ordering colorwise? Or is that an industry secret at this point? :) I would love to see him tearing it up on an emando! :mandosmiley:

Ken,
Really not sure as of yet? Still deliberating things.

So when Alan's new one is ready, you'll send me this one, with the "Bibey mojo" preinstalled, right?

John,
That's another great looking mandolin. When you get the dark blue one finished, how about posting a photo of it here.

Thanks,
Frank

John,
There isn't any way that you could be building those instruments..... Your workbench is too CLEAN and organized to be a luthier.

Looks great. Congratulations.

Andrew,

I noticed the same thing. Man, if you guys ever happen to visit my shop, don't expect that kind of cleanliness and order, even if I knew a Hot Picker like Bibey was coming by for a visit!

Well, I guess from what I hear from Andrew and Steve, I'll have to trash my shop, before I have another visitor. Gee whitakers!
Just call me Mr.Clean!
