Well the current price ($455) is still less than having three teeth extracted. If you factor in the cost of a three tooth bridge, it is much less. :)

a) Unfortunately, I did not see 'equal trade for human teeth' listed as a payment option, and I do not have enough spare money (is there such a thing?) laying around to purchase it.

b) Got it covered: hubby started a business in Florence, KY last summer, so as soon as the bank will let us move and our house sells, we're headed south of the o-HI-o. I'd fit right in down there! :whistling: (through the gap in my teeth)

I've been a KY resident for fifteen years :disbelief: now - and have experienced the loss of only one tooth - and that was partially from a 25 year-old hockey injury. A person with only a gap in the teeth might be considered a "wannabe" or at least considered "uppity". :)

That is gorgeous! That's what I love about my vintage Italian bowlbacks (I have four of them). They're just so beautiful and have a mystique about them. Nothing made today is comparable. I do prefer to play a nice modern A style though!

Here are a couple of other DeLuccia mandolins. I don't have info for the maker of the odd-shaped cutaway but the two point is labelled similar to the current one but the maker is Gennaro DeLuccia. I do not own either of them... then again I still have most of my teeth. :grin:
