Hi Folks...just wanted all to be aware and be weary of this mandola for sale on ebay:

I won the item a few weeks back and when I got it it had a heel crack that was not disclosed in the listing. Seller would not honor return policy and I had to file a Paypal claim which I won. I returned it back to the seller and Paypal issued a refund. It is now up for sale and the seller notes that it has a "heel block extension" instead of being upfront and honest about it being a crack. Can someone explain a heel block extension? He also notes that it has a "check" in the back which is in fact a full on crack. There is also a crack in the top of the sound hole going up under the fretboard. This might have been where the two halves of the top have come unglued. All cracks have not been repaired.

See more details about it in this thread:

I would love to hear comments about this. Does anyone think people will buy the heel block extension front?
