Just wanted to get the word out about my recent Jade mandolin purchase. I bought it from Ed Dye in Texas and couldn't have been happier with the service from his end.
As for the instrument, its amazing. It has a great sound and if it had come from a small shop in the states I'd estimate the price at around $2500, while I paid $1100 through Ed. It has a great sound, a lot like the flatirons, and you can tell the guys who crafted it used to make violins. Very solid instrument overall, and I'd reccomend it to anyone looking for a great sounding instrument for not too much money.
