Yikes - I don't post a bunch anyway, and certainly never a sound file. But, I played with friends the other night, and, well, no time like the present, I guess. The mando break comes around 3x, if you can manage to hang in there through the whole thing...

So, anyway, that's me getting through Forked Deer without too many clams. I started playing some 6 years ago in my first-ever attempt to play an instrument (at then-aged 36). Nothing fancy, but it's good progress for me, and there's a whole lot more to learn on the journey. And hopefully I was able to do some small amount of justice to the mando, a Mowry F5, which is a fine teacher to have along the way.
