View Full Version : Wilson #005

Just finished my latest two WF-5 builds and thought I'd post some pics. This one is #005. It has an adirondack top with red maple back, sides and neck. The neck is 1 3/16" at the nut and the fb has a 12" radius. The faux frets on the fb extension are done with silver wire and the ph is my version of a torch. It has a Bill James tp, Steve Smith bridge and Gotoh tuners with red sea snail buttons. This is a commission build and the buyer didn't want a pick guard. I am very happy with what seems to be really big Bluegrass tone and volume and am in hopes that the buyer will be even happier.:mandosmiley:

Hey Craig, great looking mando! I'd love the chance to play one of them when I next get out your way. I'm hoping to make GV in '09.
