I got this mandolin and it was spray painted robins egg blue, had a #### neck and was in poor shape. I had a new neck made, a custom inlay, and had blues legend Howard Armstrong paint the back. Always a conversation piece. All artist who worked on this mandolin were from Ohio, except Howard.
Neck was made by luthier Greg Gfell, the inlay by Doug Ungar, and the case was made by an Amish saddle maker, Eli Miller, in leather.
