Has anyone a good free download of the mandolin accompaniment of "Deh Vieni Alla finestra"? I need one to practice to for my singing project. I currently am using a piano piece, but the Mandolin sounds O so much better! I guess thats what Mozart thought too :mandosmiley:
Thanks,
Mark

Mark,
Here (http://www.mutopiaproject.org/cgibin/make-table.cgi?Instrument=Mandolin) is a link to a bunch of 18th century mandolin pieces. Near the bottom you will find Deh Vieni with mandolin score and parts for voice and the other strings.

Thanks Barry,
Actually that Mutopia site is quite interesting if not unique. I am sure I will be able to find music for my future endeavors there. By the way, I was not clear enough as I reviewed my original message. I was looking for an actual .mp3 of the mandolin accompaniment to "Deh Vieni Alla Finestra" to practice with. A mandolin player who might have made public their performance of it.
Thanks again,
Mark

Sorry, Mark. I misread your message. I think that there is a midi file there on the mutopia site though it is a computer-generated sound not a real mandolin. Plamen's link is far better.

Thank you. This piece is lovely. I would appreciate the complete serenade when you get a chance.
My vocal teacher was asking me if I would post a YOUTUBE video singing to mandolin accompaniment, do you have any restrictions or objections if I end up using it to sing with and record a video. He wants me to garner feedback from the adoring throngs who will view it  - or I guess invite constructive criticism.

Many thanks Plamen. I really appreciate your quick response to my request and the piece is lovely, more than I could have hoped for. I only hope to do it justice in my performance. I am fairly new to Opera (a late bloomer so-to-speak) but this is a real encouragement. I will send the link here when I get the video completed. It may be within the next few weeks. CIAO! :)
