Anyone have a pic of what the original Lloyd era (adjustable) bridges looked like? Just wondering if this is what I have on my A4. It would be cool to find out it really is, not a replacement. The little areas right UNDER the thumbwheels are not exactly the same if that helps.

PS Maybe I am the one who should post a picture later:))

I have a '22 A4, it has an adjustable bridge, & trussrod.
The original owner got it after surviving WW1, after he came back to Svenson Oregon.
I know the 2nd owner , who changed nothing.
I changed the upper bridge portion,
the original ebony one had a split, in the wood, above the treble thumbwheel
Now Its fitted with one made of ancient walrus tusk ivory

if it sounds nice and plays as nicely as I think it does , Whats the problem?

voila...patent stamp on the other side. Bridge top non-original, but perfect

Thanks, that looks like my bridge, I don't have a stamp. I'll stop obsessing on it now.

CA's Steve Smith, as I understand, has a replica stamp for that authentic look detail,
if OCD gets out of hand.
