Ignoring some of the newer mandos, and the plethora of Kays, here are some intersting (to me at least!) instruments...

Here's a Stromberg (!!), but there seems to be different "Strombergs" out there made by a couple different companies at different ties.

My "Victoria, B&J, New York" is a "Stromberg", & I love the "bas-relief" on the rear of the headstock.
I'm trying to attach pics, third is the best full body of her I have, seen with the Breedlove KO I sold a few months ago.
I believe Stromberg-Voisenet was the manufacturer, & they were sold under varied brand names.

They are actually Stromberg-Voisenet mandolins, totally different company than the Stromberg that built the archtop guitars. Stromberg-Voisenet became Kay.

Oh, yeah, I should have known that, Stromberg's a big name in archtop guitars, Ranger Doug has an awesome collection.
