Rick, just looking at that picture makes me want to sneeze. Cats are my kryptonite. Oh, horses too. Also ragweed. Can't forget pollen.

Chris - I tried to play that old "allergic to cats" game with my wife, just because I'm not a cat person really. She outsmarted me, and now we have two hairless Sphynx cats. They are a good alternative if you would like to own a feline. Full of personality. I can't help you much with the horses, the only hairless ones I've ever seen were afflicted with some horrible skin ailment. Besides, the litter box for horses really becomes an awful chore. Frank
