Appears to be '30's vintage Harmony or Supertone with the Shutt-inspired design. #Missing nut and bridge.

Re-posting the original link, since the old one "died in transition":

1] Bidding's only around $75 -- bargain
2] Some tweaking needs to be done on the "post a link" feature; old board's worked better.

Let us know how it comes out! This is the kind of little serendipitous "find" (like my Howe-Orme mandolinetto) that keeps me checking eBay every few days.

I know a guy that has one and it sounds remarkably good, despite the funky f-hole placement. :disbelief:

You're welcome. I found the info on the Shutt instruments really interesting, and the fact that a mid-range manufacturer like Harmony came out with mandolins based on Shutt's design, makes a Shutt-style instrument affordable. Hope you get years of great music out of it.
OLD INSTRUMENTS ARE 'WAY COOL!!!
