Very nice Ted and daughter. That song always reminds me of Ernie Kovaks. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Okay, Ted, while you may just get by Childrens Services this time this event will be filed in your childs memory. My oldest daughter, Nicole 34, called me a couple of months ago at 3 AM to tell me she had just seen a movie about her childhood. It's all my fault that she is like she is, she told me. The movie was "A Mighty Wind".

Very nice, Ted.

Clyde, you might wanna give some more detail on how your daughter feels a Mighty Wind mimics her life... there's a lot there to make us wonder even more about you! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Ted,
Nice playing for both of you. Treasure these moments. As the father of two teenage daughters who are seriously embarrassed by anything I do (musical or otherwise), I can assure you that these times will fly by soon enough.

Good one, Mike. I still need dramamine watching my wife's videotaping. My favorite is the point where she shoots 5 seconds of my mother videotaping the recital...

Wonderful, but a question.

If you are playing a banjo, doesn't that make her violin…

a fiddle? #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Actually I love the instrumentation. Kind of like a real "parlor" event from the 19th century! (lets not get too exited about when the tenor came about!) I love the fact that the violin and banjo are balanced volume wise and can easily carry a large room with no sound reinforcement. Priceless times for you Ted and your daughter is progressing quite nicely on that "fiddle!" 15 months and she already has a good sense of time and not bad intonation. Congradulatins! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
