this is a guy that has appeared before with scams... requires email contact prior to bidding, and always has a Buy it now price under true value... tries to get you to send $$ outside of ebay, and won't accept paypal etc etc...

the sale has been taken down, and it has disappeared from the listings... i report them whenever I can....
Just have to stay on top of these things

I sort of wish ebay had some way to preserve the fraudulent posts so they could be seen even after they were taken down. It's virtually a given this guy will post the same ad again in a few days or weeks. It would be nice to have seen it before it was ash-canned.

The people who monitor fraud on the bay must be becoming quite familiar with early Gibsons and their specs. #Pretty soon you guys won't have to point them out http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif ... #then again, maybe not.

OK - yeah. To be honest, that's really the main reason. It makes me feel smart if I can offer an expert opinion that a banjolele with a Johnson headstock might not be an authentic Loar.
