I have a non-mando musical item on the local Craigslist, and it's been there for a couple of weeks. I guess that I'm not so desperate to sell it that I'll take a low-ball offer.
Anyway, i recieve at least two email every day, saying, "Do you still have the amp for sale?". I always send a polite reply that I do still have it. Not one of these 20+ people have ever followed up. It kinda makes me feel like they're just checking out of concern for me. But maybe not.

They probably have the same amp and want to know what it's worth, thus their concern for your sale. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I teach clinical Anatomy and sometimes I buy bones from sources like ebay. I've had some unbelievable unsolicited emails from people seeing me bidding on them. Luckily the bids are now anonymous. Selling mandos from time to time I've been fortunate, but still get strange and ambiguous emails occasionally. I find them entertaining mostly, but then again I like junk mail.

I block somewhere around 11,000,000 messages annually at work, I can forward them to you if you'd like. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
