This one reminds me a lot of my Fern. Love the color and the burst is just the way I like them. What color is the binding? It's a very interesting color on the headstock. All in all, a beautiful instrument.

The binding is natural flame maple.

I generally don't care for the look of binding around the F holes but in this case, the job was tastefully done. Beautiful instrument!

Lokks really nice! Is this considered a tricked out version of a regular model like the Yellowstone?

That looks good enough to eat!

The binding is off the chart.

Can't wait to win a contest so I get something that's not so old.

Rick, Is that the Irish Spring model? 'cause it's as clean as a whistle!

Good luck to the players and congrats to whomever wins this one.

Jamie, you are toooooo funny!

Rick, it would stop traffic! Very sweet! Looks like an Elite! Someone will be very lucky indeed!!

I take it it's an Elite. It certainly looks like it.

Can't you make it the grand prize of an easier contest? The guys and gals who win Winfield don't need a free mando, the guys and gals who win the Mayville Bluegrass festival need one.

Hey Rick...that's a beauty for sure...

Are you guys offering maple binding as an option now? I had a Taylor guitar that was bound like that, maple everywhere including the fingerboard and headstock. It makes for a really beautiful instrument.

What color is the finish? It looks similar to my Yellowstone without the distressing...

I'm only kidding, of course. I meant for it to be a joke, but upon reading it today I'm reminded of how pathetic my sense of humor is.

Briggadier, I must have the same sense of humor 'cause I was thinking similar thoughts. How 'bout a contest of all mando players named Julie that live in Kansas...yeah, that's it.

Rick, seriously, that is a beauty of a mandolin. Will you be at Winfield?

Didn't you ask for a side-bound pickguard?!

This is labeled, "Custom F". There's really nothing like it.

Beautiful!! I love the triple binding on the fingerboard. I wish we saw more natural bindings like this!

Why yes I did- and the amazing folks at Weber complied with a fabulous side bound pickguard.

So- I figured why not try again- just trying to inspire you to ever greater heights of mandolin fabulosity.
