google is cool. Also, sometimes, if you are confident in the title you can put quotation marks (") on both sides of your search - then google will look for that exact combo of words, otherwise it searches for all instances of the words you're interested in, disregarding words like "the".

In this case, you don't need it, but it sure helps some other times.

I've had good luck finding lyrics when I had no idea of the title of the song, but could enter a couple of lines of the lyrics. It's great when you have part of a chorus to a song stuck in your head but can't recall what it is from.

Jack Elliot recorded a great version of this song with the great Ralph Rinzler on Mandolin. If you are interested, I know someone who has written about 5 pages of lyrics, expanding on the song, making more like a Harry Chapin thing. I can look for the lyrics of you want.

This song is one of the greatest folksongs ever written, and is a gas to play on Mandolin.

Song lyrics? Sorry I never heard of the song. When I read the thread title I thought you were discussing my ex wife. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
