Can anybody tell me who this pickup is made by and what the thing might be worth or if it just needs to be threw in the garbage?

It's a DeArmond (http://www.emando.com/pickups/DeArmond.htm) and if you're going to throw it out I'll send you my address and the postage.
If that was on the Epiphone you just got handed some money.

Yes mike like always you are right it came with the epi.I can't use it i guess i will sale it or trade it for something to do with a mandolin. How much money are you talking about?
