Ernie ball earthwood strings

I picked up a set of these today and don't know if I should give them a try or not. I've always used J 74's and 75's or gibsons.anyone else tried these strings?The gauges are, 10,14,24,36.What can be expected from these? Don

those diameters it's a little medium-lighter gage set, but they are a decent bronze wound string set.

If you like whomping on your mandolin to do grievous harm to the nearest mastertone banjo, that may be a bit light,
but not because of the brand..

I put them on a couple days ago and yes, they are a little on the lite side, but do have a nice sound to them. I don't have any jams in the next couple weeks, just pickin around the house so I'll leave them on for now.
