It's my birthday today! It got me thinking... What mandolin related product (including a mandolin itself) do you want for your birthday? I'd love to have a Gibson Doyle Lawson sig. Mandolin. What do y'all want?

I would like "Peace on Earth and Goodwill Toward All Mankind" for my next birthday ................. and then there is a certain Gilchrist F5 that Steve made about 1997. #I wake up in the middle of the night dreaming of that unbelievably sweet tone. #It was like Angels singing from Heaven on High!

it was my b'day last saturday-
dream mando related gift- either a real quality resonator, or a vega cylinder back in good condition.
psyched with the gift certificate to a local music store from wife, and homemade gifts from kids.

My dream mando gift? #Enough cash-o-la to not have to work with a 1 hour each way commute and play more mando and spend more time with my kids... #My dream set is still a matched set of 3 point, black topped, oval hole, with Blohm Handel Repro buttons instruments by Hans Brentrup mando and dola. #I'll settle for a 10mm macro lens for my camera (I've got great mandos as it is).
