And it really is pretty good sounding--very resonant. #The mid-range is accentuated on this instrument, so it handles the extra low-end quite well. #I had it coverted to five courses: four doubles and a single bottom string. #I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting an economy instrument with more than four courses--I think they're still available online for <$200. #The fretboard is wide enough to accomodate whatever string and spacing arrangement one wishes.

sounds cool. so I'm assuming you had the nut and bridge replaced? are you tuning it CGDAE? what's the scale length?

any pics? sounds?

Just the nut. 20" SL I think--pics on the other thread. No sound clips--no big woop anyway, so you're not missing anything. But it's a functional 5-course dola for <$300.
