Hi Bruce, Dave here in Kimberley BC. I guess you should know the wood, especially since you once owned Wylie. Did you supply the wood to John? How are you doing ?, haven't seen you since Wintergrass 3 years ago. And Yes it is a great sounding and playing mandolin.
Someone asked about the back of neck finish. The back of the neck finish is worn but it was also kind of sticky so John suggested I remove the finish or at least polish the area with a little fine, fine steel wool. I did that with the idea i would remove the finish in the future. But it looked kind of cool so I just left it polished with the steel wool.
