Great news and contratz Big Joe. You don't likely remember me (I only stopped in to Gibson once), but you impressed me as one of the most customer service oriented ppl I've met.

You should do great with this.

Conratulations, Joe. Never met you, but judging from how I've seen you handle yourself here at the Cafe being bombarded with questions and comments concerning your former employer, I would not hesitate to do business with you.
Can we expect a website at some point? (Sure hope so.)

I appreciate the kind words from all my Cafe friends. We have been extremely busy for the last number of weeks as we have been preparing for our opening. Your support and encouragement has been very encouraging.

We have a few lines of very nice product we will be dealers for and they will be revealed very soon. We have some final things to resolve before discussing those. I can say, however, that we are dealers for Phoenix Mandolin and Rolfe has been a wonderful man to work with in this process. He has been a friend for some time, and his encouragement has been greatly appreciated.

We have a nice bunch of used vintage and consignment instruments in the store. We have two mandocellos, an Eastman mandola, a Flatiron mandolin (chinese) and other items coming in over the next few days.

Our web site in in production as we speak. I have a couple web addresses that I can give you tomorrow or the next day. They will not be up and going for a week or so, but the web sites are already ours.

Our main thrust will be repair but our retail space will be filled with lots of very nice toys http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif . We also have plans for building mandolins, electric mandolins, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, and an electric upright bass. We have been working on these designs for some time and have tested and proven them. I think you will like what we will be presenting.

If any are in Nashville on Saturday, May 10 between 10am and 4pm we are having our grand opening. It is being catered by one of Nashville's best caterers and we are very pleased with that. We will have tee shirts and ball caps available soon as well.

If you have any questions, please let me know. You can e-mail me at the store at bigjoev@bellsouth.net or you can call the store at 1-615-865-8797.

Again, thank each of you for your encouragement.

I would like to especially thank Scott Tichenor for his help and for informing the Cafe of our venture. Scott has been a good friend for a number of years and I truly appreciate him.

Thanks to each of you!

Big Joe, congratulations on your new store opening. When I'm in Nashville, I'll be sure and stop and see you. Also, what is going on with the Pegasus USA venture? Is that still going on and if so, when will they be available?

Best of luck,

I want to thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. It really means a LOT to us.

I also want to announce we are currently dealers for PHOENIX Mandolins, RANDY WOOD Mandolins, and Red Line Resophonic Guitars (built by our own Steve Smith from Cumberland Acoustic). I will have each in stock next week before our Grand Opening on Saturday. If you are in the are, stop by and pick a few. We have a good number of vintage guitars and several used mandolins in stock also. Besides, there will be free food! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif .

Again, thank you for everything and if I can ever be of service please contact me.
