We made a batch of these last year, but have since decided not to produce more of them. #We have a few still in stock. #The one pictured fits F, A, and D. #There are also a few carbon fiber bowlback cases available. #They are about half the weight of fiberglass and they are very strong. If anyone is interested, contact for local Eastman dealer.

Awesome, I bet that's good protection. What is the price for one of them?

$650 retail and $300 retail for the bowlback version. You would have to contact a dealer to discuss the actual selling price.

You could contact Steve Perry at Gianna Violins or Dennis at the Mandolin Store as well. I believe they are both Eastman Dealers.

Very cool, and I like Eastman cases. Given that it's four times the price of a fiberglass case, I wonder how much stronger it is. I've often wanted to jump on an Eastman case to see what it would stand up to, but I don't have the nerve. Has anyone done strength tests on them (the fiberglass and the carbon fiber)?

Looks pretty cool, but I don't see any storage area (which was a common complaint about the older Eastman cases)...

You are correct, no storage. That is on my "list"

Sean, if you are taking a list of customer wants, may I add, an A style case and a case that fits the shorter necked (Eastman oval hole) instruments.

Well, the storage issue isn't really a "want"....it's more of a NEED

Any SF Bay Area dealers who might have one in stock or are these all special order items?

I suppose if one were handy and confident working with foam and lining material and maybe a few bits of wood, one could modify the interior to accomodate some picks and strings, yes?

No dealers have these. We only have 2 and they are in our CA warehouse.

This is always an option for the A style case needers, albeit, these small dog covers do run about $90-
