Chauffered my elderly maw from south florida to st louis this week, stopped at a broadway mandobanquet to serve up a crispy a with one of 2 sets of serving fork and spoon (material resembles Teds jazzmando pick material) purchased at Webbs antique mall in Lake City, Fl
Jamie, feel free to delete this entire post for citesness and other crass commercialism!

Bill - too funny. Nice looking mandolin - what little we can see of it.

Nice case though! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Keep up the good work!

Bill "Good To His Mother" Bussman,

I always get such a hoot out of your pictures and posts. Do you have any body shots of the mando you're tossing there?

You bought it from a mall in Lake City? I didn't know much was there. Especially mandolins. And what kind of mando was it? I missed that?

Since Mr. Bussman is one of the more prolific builders of 8 stringed things I suspect he did not buy it but instead built it.
He is the builder of Old Wave mandolins and related instruments. He builds some fantastic looking and occasionally whimsical instruments.

Sorry for the confusion, translated into reglur english, I consigned #428 to Gruhns, before I got there I stopped at locked display case #6 (everything 40% off this week!)at webbs antique mall in lake city fl and bought the 4 largest pieces of genuine antique t*******shell serving ware, used 2 of them in the staged unclear photo above. The employees told me George was out to lunch, I told them I already knew that, but wanted him to pose for the photo op anyway.....maybe next time with fish or fruit!
Joe- I went to the mandoluthier aquarium at opryland to spank the mastermodels (wish the Skaggs was 40% off this week!)figgered you werent in the back or I would have banged on the doors.
I suspect George has pics on his website, sans servingware.

The picture looks like Gruhn's in Nashville.
