Hello Folks,
I have a friend who has been learning to play the Dobro for a few weeks now, using instructional DVD's, trying to get an idea of the Dobro "ins and outs" heard in various tunes and is thinking about seeking some lessons to help her along.
The Cafe' has been a GREAT website for new and seasoned mandolin players still looking for and giving valuable advice and most likely finding the numerous answers and helpful opinions here. I was wondering if there may be a similar site (like the Cafe') that she could check out that may help her with questions concerning the Dobro that can benefit her learning.
I know there are "forums" on Jerry Douglas' site as well as Rob Ickes but I don't know if they pertain only to experienced musicians (with questions) that an inexperience beginner would find it hard to find any helpful topics.
Any suggestions of where to direct her?
Thanks All! #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif # http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/coffee.gif
