I know some will get upset but this thing is beautiful. #Its a custom guitar that my son Brad is building. Adironcack top, Curly Koa back and sides. Eagle inlay in the headstock. #It has not been sanded and rubbed out yet.

Melvin,
That's a fine looking guitar but it may be outside the posting guidelines of staying within mandolin family only instruments.

We had a Weber guitar a while back. The answer is to say "Melvin, maybe he should consider making one of these with 8 strings". http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Now it should be fine.

Melvin what happened to the photos you posted in the Builder's section yesterday? That mandolin looked good and at least two of us asked for more pictures.

It's seems like he deleted all previous posts and the Myspace page is gone too.

That koa is fantastic. I'd love to see a koa F5 with that kind of figure.

Your son does fine work.

Best,
KS

He MEANT to ask, "What do you think of a mandolin in the same wood/color scheme as this guitar?" Yeah, that's it! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
