Gotta say, FW in Hooters looks like a square peg in a round hole. Wonder if those hostesses knew what a mandolin was before that night?

Check out the dude sitting at the bar. In both pics he's staring over at Frank and the girls thinking "man, I gotta get me one of them mandolins".

P.S. I think Frank's hair is combed!

Frank has the best shirts in the business! He seems to alway be wearing a good looking western shirt on stage...Even in the Bluegrass Mandolin Extravaganza set he is wearing some cool western shirts! I guess that is one of his trademarks?

"Frank has the best shirts in the business! #He seems to alway be wearing a good looking western shirt on stage..."

That's right - he either wears the red one or the white one, depending on his mood!

This was a very cool tour and the people we got to meet were
just great. # The places we stayed were terrific. #
Thanks to everyone. # We video taped all the shows and
we might use some of the footage in our Adventures in Bluegrass series.

Frank has no problems with his hands at all. #Our regular banjo was
not there and our fill in Dave had no time to get use to our timing at all. #
Dave is a trouper though. # Also, the cold air (-18 to +3 F) produces
a real low humidity level. #I couldn't get my voice to work the air
was so dry. #When I went back to the motel in Kalamazoo I turned
on the shower to steam up the room. #It felt great and I could sing again. #
My fingers were cracking at the cuticles. #I don't know how you guys out there do it.

PS: I got the red shirt I have on from Frank. #It was too big
for him and he needed a coat back in 2000 or so. #So we swapped.
