OK, here are my mando's. The Eastman is a model 814, I made the armrest and bridge,BIG improvement in tone and sustane. The other I made in 2001 and is based on a Lyon and Healy tiple. It has X bracing and the scroll is a classic viola pattern. They both sound great but different.

Nice work on your handmade one, and that's some great looking wood on the back.

Very nice take-off on the L&H bell instruments. Have you seen the new book on Washburn (http://elderly.com/books/items/49-101176.htm) instruments by the Cafe's own keef?

I was not aware of the new Washburn book. Thank you for the link. I have the 1996 book by John Teagle on Washburn instruments so I am looking foward to some updated info on their history and older instruments.
