I'm not sure how long it's been up but Hans has a new galley at his website. Close to 100 pictures to drool over {you've been warned}. My only complaint is that the prettiest mandolin he ever made - mine - isn't included. But go see and hear for yourself.....

Hans mentioned upgrades to his website in this thread (http://www.mandolincafe.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=12;t=51120). Its primary emphasis was the inclusion of some sound clips though it did mention lots of pictures.
Judging from the photos he certainly does build some beautiful instruments. From his participation on this board and what others say about him he also seems to be a good guy.

Yeah - he is a good guy. He built me exactly the mandolin I was after. And on time. I don't know how I missed that other thread. I check that section every day. Thanks.

Same complaint here, probabaly my fault as some recent photos of my 2003 model might help.

Nice stuff Hans!

Man ! that F5C distressed model gave me goose bumps, great tone across the board - mids, bottom end & that A5L wasn't too shabby either.

I would HOPE that you're represented in that gallery, Mary! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I was very pleased to see a few photos of my blackburst 23 with the natural top.....an absolute stellar instrument in all respects....couldn't be more pleased with it!

That's a dangerous place to go !. If you don't suffer from MAS before you visit Hans's site you will do when you leave - a 'black-top' Stealth wish,wish,wish..........,
Saska

hans has a black top stealth in the classifieds for sale......

i have to say, i am stuck back in new jersey for a while (my mom has had open heart surgery and she is having complications), and have started taking lesson from Todd Collins- (he's written several popular books for Mel Bay on Monroe style bluegrass), but he is a wicked wicked jazz player and he is quite smitten with my Stealth.
