If your looking for a nice case for your mandolin, you may want to check out the access soft mandolin case. I ordered one with my Jbovier A5 and am impressed by how protective they are and how light weight. They have a shoulder strap and hand straps as well and they zip open and closed. Nice little storage pouch on the front too. I ordered mine from themandoshop.com and they are priced around $35. Highly recommended. Don't let the "soft" part fool you, they are very tough, and do not collapse when you press on the sides...they are not a gigbag!

Picture of one I snapped at the NAMM show:

Arrich is right on; these are magnificently sturdy, a thin but rigid core surrounds the instrument inside the fabric.

Very nice! Thanks, Ted!

Say, Ted, if you're in touch with these folks as a retailer, would you please ask them to include the interior dimensions
on their website? I know it's not entirely necessary for mandolinists, but it would be wonderful to have them for those
other cases.

I'll write them to ask this of 'em, too.

Thanks,
