Cut and Pasted from an earlier thread
"I am trying to find the solution for my recording needs, but the new computer has Vista, and I havent seen much mentioned about any compatability with any of the interfaces and software that are on the market right now....any vista users used FP10, the edirol unit, AO/26 or any other multitrack (8x8)that I havent explored yet?" I dont want to be the crash test dummy....

A little off topic but those of you using Vista that find your applications won't run quite the same as they did before might want to turn off the User Account Control. Vista then acts more like the previous versions of Windows. If you want to PM me I'll be more than happy to tell you how to do it. Now back to our regular programming...

Did they ever get Audacity to run in Vista? I'm still using XP, but wondering.

I'm running Audacity with Vista and it seems to be fine.

Do a search for Vista at homerecording.com or gearslutz.com and you will probably find the answer you are looking for.
