Here's a cool item: a scanned copy of an out-of-print book that has transcriptions and notes on most or all of the tunes in the American Anthology of Folk Music, the set of recordings compiled by Harry Smith. Enjoy.

I'll second that -- what a great document to rescue from oblivion. Funky transcriptions, as well; not as tidied up and sanitised as in the usual songbooks. I like the annotation "The note is sung slightly sharp of the pitch, but not enough to warrant an accidental". Bit difficult to translate to the mandolin, which doesn't really do microtonality.
