It's 11" wide. Good lead!

If it's 11" wide think tenor banjo without a resonator. The standard Gibson Mastertone pot is 11" in diameter.

Great movie, shoot 'em up with head games. I could say a lot more, but I don't want to spoil it. If you like westerns, you love it, it has everything.
Carbon fiber rod, I build necks right. Everything else is custom. There are very few "no" answers on custom instruments.

Here's the back. American Black Walnut from Indiana. This is the 4th mandolin/mandola from the same two planks that I bought two years ago. Flame maple binding, three-line purfling, rosewood fretboard and headplate.

Woo Hoo! It arrived this morning (had it shipped to my office) and is making concentrating on budget preparation even more difficult than usual! Even though the pictures above look nice, they don't begin to do it justice. Absoulely beautiful. I've only played a few quick tunes so far, but the sound is what I hoped for, woody, throaty & loud. More later.

David was fantastic to work with from start to finish. he's a talented craftsman and a great guy. If you're thinking of an Army/Navy style instrument you really should talk to him.
