Just thought I would post some pics of my Moretz mandolin. Made by Earl Moretz of Fleetwood N.C. You don't hear much about Earl or the mandolins he builds. This one is #27 built in 2003, and has a great sound. A very loud mandolin, with good balance. I also owned #35 of Earl's ( a blondie ) which was a great mando.
I added the King Brown ebony arm/back rest, and a Doug Edwards ebony pickguard. Both of those guys do great work. Their products are very well made.
