Hey folks
anyone have any experience (good or bad) with this Mandolin
still saving for my 1st mando and getting closer to my price point.

Look through some of these threads. (http://www.mandolincafe.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=Search&CODE=02&SID=478ac8ae23fd209f) There's some information on them there. The mahog will make for a warmer sound than the typical maple backed instrument. That might be a consideration if you want to play a lot of grass.
