deets:

Clark 2-Point Mandolin, with a one-piece Engelmann Spruce top and Bigleaf Maple back and sides. Finished in a deep Ruby color with nitro lacquer. Binding is top and side bound Tortoise, with black and white accent lines and Ebony point protectors. "Clark" inlay on the Ebony headstock with flush-inlaid truss rod cover and Mother of Pearl nut are accompanied by silver Waverly tuning machines. Fingerboard is also bound with marker dots on top and sides and has a compound radius. An engraved Bill James tailpiece and Cumberland Acoustics Bridge carry the strings. The abbreviated pickguard is Tortoise bound Ebony

My favorite mando color and binding treatment.(I personally know 2 BRWs that could be family!) Also, the radiused edge on the pickguard puts it in a league with the big boys. IMO that is.

If I wasn't on the end of a year wait, I would get on Austins list. Great job on the review Ted.
