Has anyone tabbed out the intro to Steve Earle's "Graveyard Shift" or know where I can find it? I'm not having much luck with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated?

Yeah, I tabbed it out on this forum. I can't remember where it is, but a search should yield it.

Here is the thread (http://www.mandolincafe.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=25;t=45141;hl=graveyard+shi ft)

I hear a G note along with the D (doublestop) in the beginning and more specifically I hear what appears to be a split string technique (an open E along with a fretted G on the E string) in the opening note or two but then again I'm tonedeaf http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

There are (at least) two versions of this song by Steve with The Del Band. I tabbed it from the live version, which is the only one I found at the time. I now see that I also have the studio version, which does indeed have the double stop D-G, X-X-5-3 for the opening lick and the whole kick off is a little different from the way I tabbed it out.

Nope, it's gone forever, unless Scott or Dan knows how to retrieve it.

None of the threads are gone, at least none started since Sept 2002. Here is the thread. (http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32593&highlight=graveyard)

Cool. When I clicked that other link, I got a "Forbidden" message. How'd you do it?
