I picked up this Eastman 815V from Gianna Violins in late September. Stephen Perry graciously invited me to spend a couple of hours in his shop. While I was there he repaired a bridge problem on my 1914 Gibson A and adjusted the head tension on my Cedar Mountain clawhammer banjo. Thanks Steve.
This Eastman has been MandoVoodooed and is a solid instrument in every respect. Plays great and sounds better every day.

I just received my Zoom H2. Once I get it figured out I will try to post some clips.
Yep...eastman and mandovodoo fan as well...
Me too. I got #537 from Steve/Gianna, varnished and Voodooed, and it's a heck of an instrument.
That is a beautiful one you've got there. Good for you. Enjoy.

KanMando, I was able to do the same thing last year; spend a couple hours picking out a new Eastman at Gianna's. I picked a nice one and it hasn't disappointed me.
That 815 is a beaut! I'll bet it sounds great, too!
Regards,
Hank
