I have to say it lived up all that i had read about it.I bought it as a cross over mandolin for bluegrass and Irish Trad.The high notes are load and clear and it really come in its own on the D+G strings with a lovely bass sound.(it also sounds great playing chop cords) http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
