That rocks! I might have to work that one out. I've always enjoyed Zep and Plant more when they do more trad/folk and less metal.

We (The Lost Hitch Hikers) play Going to CA, Thank You, When the Levee Breaks, and Gallows Pole.

it seems from the reviews on-line that the mando player is a multi-instrumentalist named justin adams.

I thought it stunk. Not as bad, or as much of a sham, as that David Lee Roth Jump, but close.

I am not denying the passage of time, and Father Time has treated some more kindly than others, but I will always think of Robert Plant as he was, and he is a shell of that. Same with Garcia, it was painful to see him fade (granted his fate was much more severe than Plant's).

And to give a contrast, a guy like Johnny Winter can still do it, complete with his characteristic vocal phrasings.

YMMV.

I really enjoyed that! Thanks for posting the link.

In a much different sense, I was quite entertained by the Jump video. The contrast between David Lee Roth's capering and the stone faces of his accompanying audio-animatrons was precious.

Thanks, 'joydit. The good thing about Plant losing the upper end of his range is that he has to sing the song and not get by on his stock vocal tricks.

Robert Plant still sounds great!!!!

I was a Led Zeppelin fan since I was 6 or 7 years old. It's great to know that these guys are growing old with the rest of us and can still make music.

It would have been a shame if Robert Plant left us the same way Bonham did.
