I definitely am battling a case of MAS. I already had a perfectly nice Weber Fern A but have been tempted by Ben Wilcox's work for a while and could not resist this beauty. It's a terrrifc bluegrass instrument. I can hardly wait until I break it in.

Looks awesome. I've always liked the two-point design, because it is very unique, and it can be had for close to the price of an A style.

Gorgeous! A very handsome mando, and no doubt it sounds great too...
I like the trillium flower inlay as well.

I have one of Ben's 2-point (Lt-H4 models) oval holes. It's simply incredible. I guess actually it's a 3-pointer.

You're never going to put it down. Ben is a craftsman, an artist, and a musician and his instruments reflect all 3 virtues.

Congratulations!

You're right about not wanting to put it down. My Weber Fern A has been languishing in its case for several days since this one arrived. The BRW is stunning to look at and Ben is clearly an amazing builder; the thing I really want to get out there is how amazing the sound is!

It's clarity, partiularly the midrange, is incomparable.

Plus, he's a great guy to work with.
