4 li'l ovals leaving home today, the man dola awaits case from the cedar creek boys. The walnut is my favorite, tho all topwoods are from the same part of the same tree.
Anyone know a free and easy audio hosting site, I'll post clips of Ezra teaching each the fishers hornpipe. The boy run off before I could get him to spank the dola into the rodes.

Wow, they're beautiful! Makes me wish I was looking for a new mandolin. Would I be right to guess these will be winging their way to Tamco?

I'm thinking Mr. Bill Bussmann should seriously consider doing this for a living. From all indicaions, he'd be pretty good at it! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

I dearly love the grain on the back of that one on the right. Well, all of them, actually, but that one in particular floats my boat.

I'm with Ron on liking the one on the right.. The one on the far left has a great back too!

Man! Those are some pretty mandolins. I agree that the walnut is the most attractive. Mmm, mmm, mmm!

Those are lookin' awesome, as usual, Bill! The 2 on the right: is that all-rosewood and all-mahogany (backs & sides, I mean)?

My guess is the far right is mesquite.

From l to r: walnut-maple-maple-rosewood-mahogany, yes, headed across the pond, should be comparative soundclips up at an english website soon.
Drybones- the last rosewood got converted to lefty, since the x brace is symetrical only the extension and nut are reversed for those righty types.
Was down at the hardwood dealer in el paso the other day, he's slowly turning into a chinese plywood dealer, but I got one of his last 4 sticks of honduran mahogany. He used to have bunks stacked 16 ft high, now its all from the phillipines.....

Jeepers! I do love the sound of cedar over walnut, tho' I'll take any of 'em if they're offered! The rosewood looks a bit like macassar ebony. Which is to say, gorgeous.
