Let me start by apologizing -- questionable mando content to follow!

I found this instrument for sale locally here in Dallas. #It's posted as a 1920's Gibson banjo. #What I find interesting is the similarities between this instrument and the early Gibson mandolins (3 piece neck, shape of the fingerboard extension, peghead inlays, tuners). #

Just thought I'd share....

That is pretty cool, the mandolinesque construction.
