and finally!!!

This mandolin has a red tint to it, much like the original Loars from late 22 and early 23. It also has a slight radius to the fingerboard. Very sweet sound.

That is a beaut. How does it sound compared to brutus and The July 9 DMM you used to own.

This is not a DMM but it is extremely sweet sounding. It is not as brash as Brutus. Still, it carries very well. The best description I can give is sweet and balanced. Like Brutus, it makes you want to play her and not put her down. The whole instrument is so balanced in its appearance and its tone.

Joe great looking mandolin. For us guys with the middle aged eyes some larger pictures might be nice. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Bill...I remember when I shot these. I tried and tried to get them small enough...only to get them too small. I am leaving town for a few days. When I get back I will work on it. I have one advantage...it is on its stand in the living room. I don't have to look at the picture http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif .

That last statement is just mean spirited! Funny too! Sweet new mando, Joe. Let me guess what kind of case you have lined up for it...
