Nice work Mike! Love the "third nipple" as a friend of mine calls the 3rd body point http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

What's with the Handel tuner buttons? I notice that you have them on your Sumi, too. Are they Handel tuners, or modern buttons, or what? They look nice.

Mike makes these replica Handle buttons. I don't know of any other builder out there making such buttons.

He does mighty fine work - beautiful all around

The pictures actually looked like you resized them and did not keep the aspect ratio in tact. They look a bit smooshed. #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
But not everyone is into digital photography and I am glad you were able to post them. Nice looking instruments.

Very nice! #I especially like the vine inlay on the fretboard. #I think the next one I have built will have just a single vine pattern centered around the neck joint similar to yours.

I had the pleasures of hearing/ seeing one of Mr. Blohm's mando's Monday evening. Man, I want one. Truly amazing tone.
Hopefully Ed will be at session this evening and I can hear it again. You do very nice work, Mike.
And you are close to home. I live just downstream from you, in Billings.
