That is one nice looking mandolin. The character of the wood really comes though the color tone very nicely. Nice detailing as usual.

Kudos for Brett; the coloring reminds me of that on my friend's '84 Flatiron A5-2. I really like that rustic appearance!

AAaaarrrgghhh!!! I can feel a serious bout of MAS setting in.. I'm in Dublin and have to go to Brighton every few months and i'm due visit this Autumn... man that is beautifull...

It has arrived and it is truly amazing. Sometimes with a mandolin you can tell just getting it out of the case that it is going to be great because it resonates in your hand in response to the smallest movement. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to spend any time with it until Monday. Another report then.

I got some playing time in on this incredible mandolin today. Here's what I've written for my website.
"It resonates as you handle it without playing a note, always a good sign. It has immense power with a remarkable depth and complexity of tone, responding equally well to the gentlest touch or the heavy pick of the loudest player, it chops and barks like few others and sings sweetly when asked."
