Has anyone tried the thomastik mandolin strings on an electric mandolin that has only a magnetic pickup? I know this would be an expensive test, but maybe someone tried it already? I know there are chrome strings by fender for jazz guitars. Any thoughts or how would you think they would sound. I have .011 nickel strings on my Old Town
